The Lawmaker representing Ibadan North-East Constituency 2, Hon. Olusola Adewale Owolabi, alongside the Chairman of Ward 12, Tijani Wasiu, and the Vice Chairman of Ward 12, Abass Jimoh, received a group of residents from Ward 9, Ibadan North-East Local Government, during a strategic engagement marked by discussions on political participation, party membership, and the forthcoming elections.

The meeting provided a platform for meaningful interaction between political representatives and community members, fostering dialogue on the residents’ political aspirations and their preferred direction of political participation. Notably, some members of the delegation, who were previously affiliated with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), announced their decision to join the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), expressing their readiness to participate in the party’s activities.

During the engagement, the residents also declared their support for APM candidates across the forthcoming electoral contests, including the presidential, senatorial, House of Representatives, and Oyo State House of Assembly elections. They expressed their commitment to contributing to the party’s activities and supporting its candidates throughout the electoral process.

Hon. Olusola Adewale Owolabi welcomed the residents and acknowledged their participation in the engagement. The meeting underscored the importance of sustained grassroots interaction, inclusive political dialogue, and the involvement of residents in shaping the democratic process.
