Hon. Abimbola Olanrewaju Osuntoki has called on residents of Akinyele Local Government to embrace unity, understanding and cooperation as essential ingredients for achieving peace and sustainable development in the council area.

Osuntoki made the call in a weekend goodwill message to the people of Akinyele, where he urged residents to use the weekend as an opportunity to rest, reconnect with loved ones and reflect on the collective journey ahead.

He emphasized that despite differences in opinions and perspectives, the people of Akinyele share common aspirations for a peaceful, prosperous and progressive local government.

According to him, the strength of Akinyele lies in the ability of its people to work together and prioritize the collective good above individual differences.

He urged residents to choose “understanding over division, cooperation over confrontation, and unity over every form of disagreement,” stressing that greater progress can be achieved when the people remain united.

Osuntoki further expressed hope that the weekend would bring peace to homes, happiness to families and renewed optimism for a brighter future for the people of Akinyele.

He concluded by wishing residents a peaceful, refreshing and fulfilling weekend.
