Hon. Abimbola Olanrewaju Osuntoki (Omo-Ola), an aspirant for the chairmanship of Akinyele Local Government under the Allied People’s Movement (APM), has extended Jummah greetings to Muslim faithful while reiterating his commitment to grassroots development and inclusive governance.

In a statement released by his media team following the Eid-el-Adha celebrations, Osuntoki wished residents a peaceful and prosperous life, expressing optimism about the future of Akinyele Local Government.

The chairmanship hopeful said he is prepared to implement policies and programmes that would positively impact both rural and urban communities, stressing that his administration, if elected, would focus on improving the welfare of the people and delivering meaningful development.

Osuntoki lamented what he described as the inadequate state of basic amenities across the local government, pledging to prioritise infrastructure and public service delivery to address the needs of residents.

He also promised an inclusive administration that would ensure leaders, youths and women within the APM benefit from purposeful governance, while maintaining that every segment of the community would be adequately represented.

Highlighting the rotational arrangement practised in Akinyele Local Government, Osuntoki said the agenda for Constituency I remains important and urged party members and supporters to remain committed to the leadership and directives of Governor Seyi Makinde (GSM).

According to him, his administration would pursue unprecedented development, promote environmental sustainability and create an enabling atmosphere for both indigenes and non-indigenes to thrive.

He concluded by calling on residents and party faithful to support his aspiration, reaffirming his loyalty to the APM and Governor Seyi Makinde, whom he described as his leader and mentor.
