A chieftain of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Hon. Osuntoki Abimbola Olarenwaju, popularly known as Omo-Ola 1, has reiterated his commitment to promoting good governance, efficiency, and sustainable development in Akinyele Local Government.

In a statement made available to journalists, the politician expressed gratitude to Almighty God for His protection and guidance, acknowledging divine grace in all human endeavours.

Hon. Olarenwaju described Akinyele Local Government as a complex political and administrative entity that requires visionary leadership, effective governance, and a people-oriented administration capable of addressing the developmental needs of residents.

He stated that the people of Akinyele are yearning for a leadership that will drive growth, improve service delivery, and ensure that governance positively impacts the lives of citizens across the local government.

According to him, the agenda of inclusiveness and development remains paramount, adding that Akinyele Constituency I possesses the necessary capacity to produce the next chairman of the local government.

“We need a focused and result-oriented administration that will deliver day-to-day growth and bring meaningful development to the people,” he said.

The APM stalwart also emphasized the need to promote excellence and eliminate incompetence in the administration of the local government, noting that residents are demanding accountable and transparent leadership.

Hon. Olarenwaju, who is popularly known as Omo-Ola 1, pledged his readiness to address what he described as irregularities and maladministration within the local government system, while promising to work towards good governance and improved service delivery.

He maintained that the people deserve leaders who are committed to serving with dedication and placing the interests of the populace above personal considerations.

The statement was signed by the Omo-Ola Media Team as part of activities ahead of the 2026 political season under the banner of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM).
