The leadership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State yesterday continued its local government engagement series with a well-attended meeting with stakeholders of Ona Ara Local Government.

The meeting, which took place at the State Party Secretariat, Molete, Ibadan, was presided over by the State Chairman of the Party, Hon. Dayo Ogungbenro.

State Executive members present were: Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke (State Secretary), Hon. Mufutau Ogunremi (Oyo Central Senatorial Chairman), Hon. Michael Ogunsina (State Youth Leader / Acting Publicity Secretary), Hon. Waheed Gbadegesin (State Legal Adviser), Hon. Biodun Popoola (Assistant State Organizing Secretary), Hon. Kunmi Adesina (State Ex-Officio), and Hon. Adelabu Aderemi Alaba.

Ona Ara Local Government stakeholders present included the Deputy Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Abiodun Fadeyi; Ona Ara Local Government Chairman, Hon. Temitope Kolapo Glorious; Political Head of Inukan LCDA, Hon. Oluwole Windapo; respected leader Baba Waheed Adurodekun; Ona Ara Local Government Party Chairman, Hon. Mosobalaje Bakare; along with the entire PDP Local Government Executive.

The session, which lasted for hours, was conducted in a peaceful atmosphere and addressed critical party issues, reconciliation, and strategies for strengthening the PDP in Ona Ara Local Government.

The meeting ended on a strong note of unity, with all stakeholders reaffirming their loyalty to the party and their support for Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration.
