A member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Ibadan North East Constituency 1, Hon. Abiodun Babalola, Ph.D, has commended the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo ‘O mu yes’, for the commissioning of the newly constructed Operation Burst office in Adekile.

Speaking during his goodwill message at the event, Hon. Babalola described the project as a strategic and timely intervention to address security concerns in the area.

“This is a bold and commendable initiative by Hon. Akintayo. Establishing this security base in a sensitive location shows his deep understanding of the needs of his people,” Babalola said.



He further pledged to support the security structure by providing adequate solar-powered floodlights, which will enhance night visibility and facilitate efficient operations by security personnel.

Babalola also used the occasion to commend His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, FNSE, for his visionary leadership and for giving local representatives the platform to deliver meaningful development to the grassroots.

The Operation Burst office, described as the first of its kind established at the local government level in Oyo State, has attracted widespread commendation from stakeholders for its potential to improve community policing and strengthen local security networks.
