
Hon. Gbenga Ayinde Adewusi, popularly known as Arole and former Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, has congratulated His Excellency, Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja, the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on his appointment as the Agbaakin Musulumi of Oyo State.
The revered title was recently conferred on Amb. Arapaja by the Grand Imam of Oyo State, His Eminence Sheikh Abdul Ganiyy Abubakar Agbomotomokekere, in recognition of his commitment to the growth of Islam and his contributions to peace, unity, and human development in Oyo State and beyond.
In his congratulatory message, Hon. Adewusi described Amb. Arapaja as “a shining example of humility, service, and leadership who continues to inspire many within and outside the PDP family.” He noted that the choice of Arapaja for the prestigious religious title reflects his sterling character, generosity, and unwavering support for community development.
“Arapaja is not only a political leader but also a man of deep faith and integrity whose life embodies service to humanity. His new role as Agbaakin Musulumi further solidifies his standing as a bridge-builder and a leader with compassion for the people,” Adewusi stated.
Hon. Adewusi prayed for Amb. Arapaja’s continued success, wisdom, and good health as he takes on this new responsibility in service to God and mankind.
The conferment of the Agbaakin Musulumi title has been widely applauded across Oyo State as a deserving honour for a man whose influence extends beyond politics into social and spiritual leadership.
